Mental health + substance use care · Yakima

Your path starts here.

Recovery is a choice you don't have to make alone — evidence-based treatment for substance use and mental health.

  • Ask about same-day assessment availability
  • Behavioral health and medical care in one team
  • English and Spanish language assistance
  • Secure telehealth for eligible Washington clients

Getting started

A clear first step.

You do not need to know the exact program name. Tell intake what is happening and what you hope will change; we will help identify the appropriate next step.

  1. Contact intake

Call or send a brief, non-urgent contact request.

  2. Share what you need

We ask about concerns, coverage, timing, and any documents.

  3. Confirm the fit

Intake explains availability, cost, location, and the recommended appointment.

  4. Begin care

Your care team builds a practical plan with you and reviews it over time.

Why Valley Health

Serious care. Human treatment.

Good care should be clinically grounded, easy to understand, and respectful of the life you are already managing.

About our approach
  1. State-certified programs

Behavioral health and substance use treatment delivered within Washington requirements.

  2. One coordinated team

Counseling, psychiatric care, primary care, and case management can work from one plan.

  3. Same-day assessments

Ask intake about same-day assessment availability when you call.

  4. English and Spanish

Language assistance is available in English and Spanish.

The Valley model

We remove the barriers that end recoveries.

Insurance may pay for care visit by visit, but we measure success in outcomes. A barrier to treatment becomes a reason to quit — so alongside clinical care, we take on the practical obstacles that pull people out of recovery.

Fewer barriers mean fewer reasons to quit — and more chances to show up, learn, and stay well.

  1. A safe place to sleep

Housing instability is one of the biggest relapse triggers we see. We work to help secure housing funding — because food on the table and a safe place to sleep change the odds in early recovery.

  2. A steady job

The other is work. We help with job searches, applications, and connections to local employment programs, so recovery comes with a reason to get up in the morning.

  3. A ride there and back

We provide transportation to and from appointments — and other destinations in your treatment plan — so getting here is never the hard part.
